Programs and Services

With an array of dynamic and engaging programs and services, we provide education, support and a sense of community to young women at high risk for breast and ovarian cancer. We empower young women to take control of their breast and ovarian health, thus granting them the freedom and peace of mind to live a beautiful and fulfilling life.

Education
Little Bright Book Educational Series
Little Bright Books were created to educate, enlighten and inspire women to be proactive advocates for their breast and ovarian health. Each Little Bright Book in the educational series was written by a team of medical professionals in collaboration with the Bright Pink Expert Panel and has been endorsed by the National Society of Genetic Counselors.

Breast/Ovarian Health 101 Educational Workshops
Breast/Ovarian Health 101 is a one-hour educational workshop for all women between the ages of 18 and 45 who are interested in understanding what their lifetime risk of breast/ovarian cancer is and what steps they can take today to be proactive with their health. Learn more about this one-of-a-kind workshop.

Ask A Genetic Counselor
While some may say ignorance is bliss, we at Bright Pink believe that
knowledge is power. Here, you can take a personalized questionnaire to learn if you could be at risk for hereditary cancer and if genetic counseling makes sense for you, anonymously submit questions to a genetic counselor, and read questions from others.

Support
Pinkpal® One-On-One Peer Support
PinkPal® provides one-on-one peer support to young women who are at high risk for breast and ovarian cancer. Each “Participant” is paired with a “PinkPal” who provides the individual with positive support and encouragement as a fellow high-risk individual, uniquely familiar with her personal journey.

Experiential Outreach Groups
Bright Pink’s version of a support group, these events take place in the context of a fun activity, such as a yoga class or pottery painting, and are followed by a facilitated discussion on a topic that is related to being young and at high-risk for developing breast and ovarian cancer. The events offer a fun, inviting opportunity for young women to gather in a warm atmosphere with a group of like-minded individuals who share similar concerns, hopes and journeys.

Supportive Online Peer Forum
On
Bright Pink’s online forum, young women can interact, post questions, seek support and discuss topics related to being young and at high risk for breast and ovarian cancer via an online peer forum. Our forum is a great way for members to connect with the Bright Pink community and is widely used by individuals all across the world. We hope you will share your individual experiences and feel welcome in the Bright Pink Community.
