LITTLE BRIGHT BOOK

The Little Bright Book is an educational resource created to allow ob/gyn's and other medical professionals a tool to engage in the conversation of breast and ovarian cancer risk with their patients. The easy-to-understand language, colorful illustrations, and engaging, positive tonality make it a perfect tool for doctors to hand out to patients or display in the office. The book explores what causes someone to be at high risk for breast and ovarian cancer and provides the reader with clear, tangible actions she can take to be pro-active with her health, however high her risk may be. The book has been approved by Bright Pink's expert panel, as well as 30 other top surgeons, ob/gyn's, general practitioners, psychologists and genetic counselors from around the country. The book is written by Bright Pink Founder and Executive Director, Lindsay Avner, and Dr. Deborah S. Lindner, MD, an obstetrician/gynecologist at
The Women's Group of Northwestern.
