Why Volunteer with Bright Pink?
Our volunteers are the most valuable resource we have. People like you, who donate their time, knowledge and talent, put the brilliance in our Bright Pink. It is thanks to the commitment of our volunteers that we have such a strong impact nationwide. If you believe in Bright Pink’s mission of educating and empowering young women to be proactive with their breast and ovarian health, then we would love to have you join the Bright Pink family and start volunteering today!
As a Bright Pink volunteer you will:
- Have the opportunity to network with other extraordinary individuals
- Become part of a growing community of forward-thinking, community-minded and generous people
- Help spread a message that can positively impact and save the lives of thousands of women nationwide
- Feel the empowerment that comes with giving back to your community

Volunteer with Bright Pink’s Chicago Headquarters
To join our Chicago volunteer network, please contact Emily, Emily@BeBrightPink.org, who will sign you up for an upcoming volunteer orientation session.
Attending a volunteer orientation is a mandatory requirement for all new Chicago volunteers. These sessions provide interested individuals with an overview of Bright Pink’s mission, values, programs and services, as well as the roles, expectations, and opportunities for volunteers.
Volunteer orientations take place at Bright Pink Headquarters (400 N. State Street suite 230), on the 1st Wednesday of every month from 6:00-7:00 PM.
Following orientation, you will receive monthly emails listing an array of volunteer opportunities, and you will be invited to sign-up for the role that interests you most. Additionally, if you wish to make a larger commitment to the organization, you will also have the opportunity join a specific committee (i.e. Marketing, Education, Community Outreach, etc.) which will meet periodically to work on long-term initiatives including new program development, event planning and marketing campaigns.
Be Brilliant. Be Bold. Be Bright Pink
Bright Pink depends on the involvement of incredible men and women like you, who volunteer their time, knowledge, and resources to help further our mission. We thank you for taking the time to consider joining the Bright Pink family as a volunteer!
